Tax and Legal Considerations relating to Succession & Estate Planning
RBK Chartered Accountants are delighted to continue our series monthly of in-person / hybrid events which will be held in the UCD University Club in Dublin and on-line.
The third event will be on Thursday, 19th May where we will take a look at Succession & Estate Planning.
Stephanie Whelan from Reddy Charlton Solicitors will be discussing estate planning for the modern / blended family and pitfalls of not planning ahead for both tax and succession. RBK’s Richard McAufield will consider taxation implications of gifts and inheritances including life time gifting, assets passing on death, discretionary trusts for incapacitated children, common reliefs and foreign considerations in estate planning. RBK’s Patrick Keegan will be discussing the importance of pension planning as part of your succession planning needs.
Who should attend?
Individuals should regularly review and update their succession plans in light of key life events and external factors. This event should therefore be of interest to a broad spectrum of individuals, including individuals currently with no succession plans and those individuals who wish to keep up to date on best practice.
