RBK is pleased to welcome Killian Redmond from the Marist College in Athlone, who won the 2024 RBK Bursary Prize towards his chosen third level education together with an 8-week internship with RBK.
The initiative was launched at the firms 60th Anniversary in November 2018 as part of the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance Programme and was open to all leaving cert students.
Regarding the Bursary Prize, Joe Cleary, the Managing Partner at RBK, stated “here at RBK our role in the community extends beyond being Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers. One of our fundamental values is to actively contribute to the community by providing support to educational and community initiatives.
“As a training firm, we place significant importance on educating our staff and trainees, as well as attracting the most talented individuals. Additionally, we have made substantial investments in the latest technology, primarily to ensure a streamlined and cost-effective service and secondarily, to help our staff achieve a healthier work/life balance. The scholarship program we offer is a testament to our commitment to promoting further education and nurturing promising talent”.
